17th CQSU Congress
CQSU is delighted to invite you to its 17th congress, to be held on Monday July 7 and Tuesday July 8, 2025, in Montreal. This congress is a valuable opportunity to meet your peers from other universities, exchange ideas, and strengthen ties between local sections. You’ll be able to draw inspiration from best practices, share experiences and contribute directly to the discussions and decisions that will shape our industry.
The congress will address key issues for our sector, such as:
- The evaluation and adoption of resolutions that will guide our future coordinated negotiations.
- Reports from the various CQSU bodies and an assessment of the year’s actions.
- Planning of financial strategies to effectively support our demands.
- Elections to renew or elect members of the Executive Board and CQSU committees.
Event details :
- Location: Main building of Polytechnique Montréal, at 2500, chemin de Polytechnique, room A-552
- Dates: Monday, July 7 and Tuesday, July 8
- Schedule :
- Arrival on Monday, July 7 between 11:30 and 12 noon; lunch from noon to 1 p.m., then conference begins at 1 p.m.
- Work on Monday afternoon July 7 and all day Tuesday July 8
- Social events on the evenings
Participation :
- CQSU members: Costs are fully covered by CQSU for Executive Board members and up to three delegates per CQSU member local.
- Non-CQSU members: Each local section in the Quebec university sector non-CQSU member is entitled to one observer, paid for by their local section; you are welcome (confirm with mobilisation.cqsu@gmail.com).
