Resolutions adopted at the convention: To give greater weight to their demands, CQSU member locals voted in favor of coordinated negotiations. This means that we have established a set of common elements that all CQSU member locals will include in their negotiation agenda. The precise wording of these resolutions can be found on this members-only page. It’s a key resource for ensuring that our efforts are aligned and more powerful.
Negotiating assistance: We provide our members with a complete file of all collective bargaining agreements in the academic sector, whether from member unions or not. The Negotiating assistance page also includes detailed arguments to help them defend resolutions adopted at convention. With these resources, our member locals are better prepared and armed to achieve favorable results in their negotiations.
Meeting minutes: It’s important to us that our member locals keep abreast of the actions and decisions taken by the CQSU executive and at meetings between locals. These summaries enable them to keep abreast of collective progress and to participate actively in the global strategy of our union community.
