Participate in the 16th CQSU Congress: let’s strengthen Quebec’s university sector together!

CQSU is delighted to invite you to its 16th congress, to be held on Monday July 29 and Tuesday July 30 in the Mauricie region. This congress is a valuable opportunity to meet your peers from other universities, exchange ideas, and strengthen ties between local sections. You’ll be able to draw inspiration from best practices, share experiences and contribute directly to the discussions and decisions that will shape our industry.

The congress will address key issues for our sector, such as:

  • The evaluation and adoption of resolutions that will guide our future coordinated negotiations.
  • Reports from the various CQSU bodies and an assessment of the year’s actions.
  • Planning of financial strategies to effectively support our demands.
  • Elections to renew or elect members of the Executive Board and CQSU committees.

  • Location: Chalet “Le Foyer”, domaine Tavibois, 14 chemin Domaine Tavibois, Hérouxville, Canada
  • Dates: Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, July 30 (including overnight stays on Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, July 30)
  • Schedule :
    • Arrival on Monday, July 29 between 3 and 3:30 p.m., conference begins at 3:45 p.m.
    • Work on Monday afternoon July 29 and all day Tuesday July 30
    • Social events on the evenings
    • Departure no later than 11am on Wednesday, July 31

Participation and costs :

  • CQSU members: Costs are fully covered by CQSU for Executive Board members and up to three delegates per CQSU member local.
  • Non-CQSU members: Each local section in the Quebec university sector (CQSU member or not) is entitled to two observers, paid for by their local section (approximately $350 for accommodation and meals + travel and leave).

We encourage you to fill in the registration form as soon as possible, so that we can provide adequate quantities of food and ensure optimum organization.
